Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the services provided by doushi.ai ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Customer", "User", or "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.

2. Description of Services

doushi.ai provides an autonomous Machine Learning platform that empowers users to build, validate, simulate, export, and deploy predictive AI models from tabular datasets. The services include:

• Autonomous Model Generation: Automated data profiling, missing value imputation, feature engineering, and model tournament selection.
• Interactive Live Simulation: Real-time browser-based prediction playground with interactive feature sliders and explainability scores.
• 1-Click Hosted REST APIs: High-performance, low-latency HTTPS inference endpoints secured by cryptographic API tokens.
• Developer CLI & Python Code Export: Official Python command-line interface (doushi-cli) and complete standalone training script exports.

3. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property Rights

We believe your data and models belong exclusively to you. Under these Terms:

• Customer Data: You retain full title, ownership, and intellectual property rights in and to all data, files, schemas, and content uploaded to doushi.ai.
• Trained Artifacts & Weights: All machine learning models, tuned hyperparameters, feature transformation pipelines, and prediction outputs generated for your account are your exclusive property.
• Exported Code: You are granted full, royalty-free, perpetual rights to run, modify, and distribute any exported Python training scripts outside our platform with zero vendor lock-in.
• No Model Training On Customer Data: doushi.ai will never use your proprietary datasets to train general foundation models or benefit other customers.

4. User Accounts, Security & API Tokens

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API keys.

• You must immediately notify us at support@doushi.ai if you suspect unauthorized access or security breaches.
• API tokens generated in your dashboard must be handled with appropriate security precautions. You may rotate or revoke API tokens at any time.
• You agree not to share account credentials across multiple individuals unless permitted under a multi-seat Team/Enterprise subscription.

5. Subscription Plans, Billing & Cancellation

doushi.ai offers both free tiers and paid subscription plans (Starter, Professional, and Custom Enterprise).

• Payment Processing: Billing is processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize automatic recurring charges on a monthly or annual basis until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your dashboard billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Fair Use & Quotas: Subscription tiers include defined monthly limits for model training runs, dataset sizes, and API prediction calls. Overages or tier upgrades can be initiated seamlessly within the platform.
• Refunds: If you are dissatisfied with our service within the first 14 days of upgrading to a paid tier, contact support for a prompt full refund.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to misuse the platform. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Upload datasets containing unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Attempt to circumvent API rate limits, container sandboxes, or access unauthorized tenant memory.
• Conduct denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, automated vulnerability scans, or reverse-engineer the proprietary platform architecture.
• Use the inference APIs for automated unlawful surveillance, weapon systems, or high-risk decision systems prohibited under applicable European Union AI regulations.

7. Service Level, Availability & Warranties

We strive to provide continuous, high-availability services with 99.9% uptime for deployed production REST API endpoints.

Probabilistic Nature of AI: Machine learning algorithms generate probabilistic statistical predictions based on historical patterns in your training data. While doushi.ai optimizes for benchmark metrics (RMSE, AUC-ROC, F1-Score), we do not guarantee specific business outcomes or zero error rates for downstream predictive applications.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, doushi.ai and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform. Our aggregate liability for any claims under these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to doushi.ai during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of laws principles and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The courts of Frankfurt am Main, Germany shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
